8 Installation Diagram
In the liquid level measurement of reservoirs, oil tanks, etc., in order to prevent the long-term measurement process displacement of the transmitter, it is recommended to use a fixed pipe installation method. Fix a pipe with an inner diameter greater than Φ30mm. The pipe can be steel pipe or plastic pipe. The pipe is connected up and down. Put the transmitter into the pipe to the corresponding depth, and fix the cable and junction box at the outlet of the pipe.
In static liquid measurement, the liquid level transmitter can be directly put into the liquid, and the cable and junction box can be fixed at the outlet.
When measuring the liquid level in a flowing liquid, insert a steel pipe with an inner diameter of about Φ30mm into the liquid, and open 2 to 3 small holes of about Φ5mm in the opposite high and low positions of the liquid flow direction to make the liquid easy to enter In the tube, fix the cable and junction box at the outlet.
When measuring the liquid level in a liquid with large fluctuations, it is recommended to add a damping device as shown in the figure to reduce the influence of fluctuations on the liquid level measurement, and fix the cable and the junction box at the outlet.
In the liquid level measurement with large sediment, it is necessary to install a mounting bracket to prevent the sediment from clogging the pressure hole and causing test
When measuring the static liquid level in an open container, the level transmitter can be directly put into the bottom of the container, and the cable and junction box can be fixed at the opening of the container.

10 Precautions
10.1 When selecting the type, please pay attention to the compatibility between the measured medium and the product part contacting the medium. If you are not clear, please refer to the media compatibility table on the back cover of the manual or consult our company.
10.2 Please indicate the appropriate measurement range and accuracy requirements when placing an order. In order to ensure the stability and accuracy of the product, it is recommended that the range of the liquid level transmitter be selected according to 120% of the actual measured liquid level height. The maximum pressure should be within the measured range.
10.3 When ordering transmitters with LCD or LED heads, the power supply of transmitters should be no less than 15VDC.
10.4 In order to ensure reliable operation of outdoor products, it is recommended that users order transmitters with lightning protection. Ensure the reliable grounding of the product and power supply during installation, which can reduce the damage probability of lightning to the transmitter.
10.5 When selecting digital display products, the working environment temperature range of transmitter is – 30 ℃ ~ 70 ℃.
10.6 The product is installed vertically on the field pressure interface, and the display screen is vertically facing the observer.
10.7 For the medium containing silt and sand particles, the head of the transmitter needs to take protective measures such as filtration and bracket to prevent the pressure tap from blocking or particles scratching the diaphragm.
10.8 When used in dangerous environments such as inflammable and explosive, please install a safety isolation barrier as required, and the cable connection must be sealed and reliable. Before powering on, tighten the junction box cover to ensure that the internal cavity of the transmitter is isolated from the environment. When cleaning, repairing, or modifying parameters, the power must be completely cut off, the transmitter must be removed, and it must be moved to a safe environment for processing. Live operation on site is strictly prohibited.
